Ruskington confirmed its place in the larger Lincolnshire authority
Ruskington Parish Council published an update saying the village would join the new, larger Lincolnshire unitary rather than the expanded City of Lincoln authority, with no immediate change to council services during the transition.
The destination was clearer, but the village's future representation and the way rural priorities would be handled remained unresolved.
- Ruskington, Sleaford, Heckington and Billinghay were placed in the larger unitary under the selected model.
- North Kesteven District Council, Lincolnshire County Council and Ruskington Parish Council continued operating normally during transition.
- The parish council was not being abolished under the proposals.
